11th Annual Health Care Institute Conference

Consider joining us at the 11th Annual Health Care Institute Conference, Theme: “Challenges and Solutions in Caring for the Unhoused in Our Community," April 21–23, 2026, at the historic Menger Hotel on the San Antonio River Walk.

Sponsored by the UT San Antonio School of Nursing and the International Association of Latino Nurse Faculty/Nurse Leader (IALNF/NL). 

This conference convenes healthcare professionals, educators, social workers, counselors, community leaders, researchers and students to address critical challenges affecting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.  Through keynote presentations, educational sessions and collaborative dialogue, the conference highlights practical strategies to reduce barriers to care, strengthen community partnerships and improve access to services for vulnerable populations. Nationally recognized experts, local leaders and individuals with lived experience will share insights that support coordinated, compassionate responses to homelessness.
