Topic: “Targeting Metabolic Function to Improve Aging and Healthspan”

October 10-13, 2024

Registration deadline is September 6, 2024.

Each year, the Sam & Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies organizes a conference held at the Mayan Dude Ranch (https://mayanranch.com) in Bandera TX, the “Cowboy Capital of the World.”  The conference is funded by the NIA through the San Antonio Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Biology of Aging, the San Antonio Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, the Sam & Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies, and the Center for Metabolic Health.

This conference attracts a national and international audience and features experts in fields from basic biology to clinical research.  It provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of state of the art research in geroscience and allows ample opportunity for informal discussion and networking.

This year we have sixteen external speakers and four local speakers, as well as selected abstract speakers - selected from abstract submissions for the Friday evening poster session.

Register Here!  Registration availability is limited.
