Presented by the STRONG STAR Consortium and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, this two-day, national conference scheduled for October 26-27, 2022, is focused on emerging outcomes and ongoing scientific research on the assessment and treatment of combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and comorbid conditions in military service members and veterans.

Each year the conference draws an international audience of leaders in the field of military psychological health who gather to hear the state of the science on preventions and treatments for PTSD and co-occurring conditions.

Participants include researchers, clinicians, leaders and policy makers within the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs as well as from academia and the civilian sector. Numerous military personnel, veterans and community members with an interest in the mental health needs of our nation’s war fighters also join the proceedings.

Focal areas this year will include resiliency enhancement, suicide prevention, research outcomes with next-generation PTSD treatments, advancing treatment of co-occurring conditions, and implementation of evidence-based treatments in clinical settings.Continuing education credits are available.
