Bioscience Tour of San Antonio with the GSBS Office of Student Success, Texas State, UTSA and Biomed SA!

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Friday, October 4 or until seats filled.

Who:  UTHSCSA Advanced Graduate Students (2nd Year Master's Students and Doctoral Candidates)
What: Visit SwRI, Velocity Texas, GenCure, Scorpius Manufacturing and BioBridge Global! See their facility's labs. Meet with their scientists and learn about their career paths. Lunch will be provided.
When: Wednesday, October 16 at 8:00am
Where: Students can check-in at the Dean's Office in AAB 100. Students should check-in no later than 7:30AM. Coffee and water will be made available. The shuttle will pick up students at the LSOM campus. 

Attire: Students are encouraged to attend in business casual attire. Keep in mind you will be networking with local industry leaders and you want to make a good impression. That being said, you will also do a fair amount of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. 

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST REQUEST SUPPORT AND TIME OFF FROM YOUR MENTOR PRIOR TO SIGNING UP. Space is limited to 22 UTHSCSA students. This survey will close once the criteria below is met for 22 graduate students, and an additional 10 students who meet the criteria will be added to the waitlist. If you are not able to join us this trip, please be on the look out throughout the next year for additional opportunities. We hope to offer this event in the future.
