Bridging Stress Biology & Metabolism in Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer

Join Mays Cancer Center Grand Rounds on October 15 for “Bridging Stress Biology & Metabolism in Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer,” featuring Rebecca B. Riggins, PhD, Professor of Oncology at Georgetown University Medical Center.

The annual guest lectureship honors Deborah L. Mueller, MD, FACS, a UT Health San Antonio surgeon, retired Air Force colonel, mentor and advocate for women in medicine who died from metastatic lobular breast cancer in 2023. Her commitment to patients, trainees and the advancement of medicine continues through this lectureship and its focus on better understanding invasive lobular carcinoma.
