Campus Blood Drive: Make a Lifesaving Difference

Help save lives right here at UT Health San Antonio! The Blood Donor Center will host a blood drive on Thursday, December 4, on the second floor of the Dolph Briscoe Jr. Library in Classrooms 2.041, 2.043 and 2.044 on the Long Campus.

Every donation makes a difference — one blood donation can help up to two patients in need.

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome.

Donor Eligibility
To donate blood, you must:

• Be 18 years or older

• Weigh at least 116 pounds

• Be in general good health

• Have eaten a full meal within the past 6 hours

• Present a valid ID (Driver’s License, State-issued ID, Military ID, or Passport)

• Have no piercings or tattoos within the past 3 months

Donor Appreciation
Every eligible donor will receive a UT San Antonio hat or T-shirt and will be entered into a drawing for a UT San Antonio jacket and tumbler!
