 is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at The Universit
 y of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Raj is a licensed psychologi
 st providing comprehensive therapy\, patient readiness for surgery evaluat
 ions\, and consultations with oncologists and surgeons at the Mays Cancer 
 Center\, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. She prov
 ides cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction the
 rapy to patients diagnosed with cancer.\n\nRaj has established behavioral 
 health clinics at UT Health Physicians Medical Drive and Westover Hills pr
 imary care locations. In these primary care clinics\, she provides solutio
 n-focused\, evidence-based care while consulting with primary care provide
 rs. She is the first psychologist to be fully embedded within the Universi
 ty Health Transplant Center\, providing extensive clinical services and ev
 aluations for patients in the hospital and in the outpatient setting. She 
 is the director of psychological services at the transplant center\, actin
 g as a liaison between the Department of Psychiatry and the center.\n\nShe
  received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Spalding University in
  Louisville\, Kentucky and completed her clinical psychology residency at 
 The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Raj completed h
 er post-doctoral fellowship at Texas A&M University School of Medicine.\n\
