 volving areas of restorative dentistry. In addition\, new products have be
 en introduced in the glass ionomers and resin-modified glass ionomers cate
 gories. Dentists are faced with a large range of restorative dental materi
 als and are expected to separate advertising from reality. In this present
 ation\, Dr. Khajotia will differentiate among the various categories of ad
 hesive systems and resin cements from the perspective of critical Biomater
 ials Science considerations and clinical use without personal bias or comm
 ercial interests. He will also discuss glass ionomers and resin-modified g
 lass ionomers from that perspective.\n\nDuring this presentation\, Dr. Kha
 jotia will review the composition\, manipulation and properties of bonding
  agents\, resin luting cements\, glass ionomers\, and resin-modified glass
  ionomers with an emphasis on the latest generation of bonding agents. Dr.
  Khajotia will then provide attendees with a unique insight into current r
 esearch in his laboratory on the development of an antibacterial bonding a
 gent and on interactions between oral biofilms and dental biomaterials. Ov
 erall\, this presentation will provide participants with the tools needed 
 to review and select suitable bonding agents\, glass ionomers\, and resin 
 cements with confidence.
