DESCRIPTION:The goal of New Student Orientation (NSO) is to provide incomin
 g nursing students with the tools needed to transition to nursing school o
 r UT San Antonio.\n\nThe School of Nursing New Student Orientation is coor
 dinated by the Student Success Center and is offered in two stages – asy
 nchronous\, self-paced orientation modules and a synchronous day of facult
 y\, student\, and staff panels and presentations.\n\nBoth of these aspects
  of NSO are mandatory for all incoming students.\n\nThe live undergraduate
  orientation provides incoming students with the opportunity to hear from 
 offices such as the Office of Academic Affairs\, the Student Success Cente
 r\, the Office of Student Life\, and the Counseling Center.\n\nAdditionall
 y\, there is allotted time for incoming students to ask questions to curre
 nt faculty about class and clinical expectations\, as well as ask current 
 students about their experiences in nursing school.
