Jennifer Sharpe Potter, PhD, MPH, vice president for research, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, will discuss the Be Well Institute on Substance Use and Related Disorders, which includes the Be Well, Texas initiative of UT Health San Antonio, which is revolutionizing how substance use disorder is treated in Texas by providing outpatient and virtual services, making them accessible to more people in every corner of the state. Potter is the executive director of Be Well, Texas.
